THE NOVEL - SANGEETHA

I have just finished reading the novel Sangeetha. If you are not above fifty then forget about reading it. It is about the forbidden love story of an eighty years old rich Indian widow and a seventy years old Malay postman pensioner who is a confirmed bachelor. It is tragic love story because they are of different races and different religous beliefs. AND they are very old to understand the situation enough. Well, love is damned blind.

Title : SANGEETHA

A FORMER STUDENT

This is En Munir bin Mat Yalib of PKG Subang Jaya. He is the man in-charge to record the happening at Shah Alam Golf Club. I met him on 13 November 2008 for the Perkembangan Profesionalisme Pengetua-Pengetua Selangor held there. He was my former student of Kursus Diploma Perguruan Malaysia 1997 - 2000 batch. I was his lecturer back then in Maktab Perguruan Teknik Kuala Lumpur, now known as Institut Perguruan Teknik Kuala Lumpur. It is nice to meet your student again. May you sucess always.

THE ROAD AGAIN

This particular route seems very familiar to me with the oil palm estates, coconut and paddy plantation. We did stopped at the spot where I used to have my lunches those two years ago. Those junctions, those roads, the familiar buildings how come I forget them.
This time I took the bus with the others, those two years ago I drove here myself. I used to visit Manjong to visit my daughter when she studied in SM Teknik Seri Manjong.
