School holidays is nearly over. It is ten days this time. Where have I been really?
Since Ramadhan coincides with the holiday I felt it is better to spend the time at home.
But actually four days I went to school.
The one day holiday I went to settle the installation of the home phone and the internet.
However right now the internet is not activated yet.
And that made me poorer RM135.00 for the phone without any monthly bill yet.
This is just the story of myself and my family.

SECOND OF RAMADHAN
On the second of Ramadhan we managed to break the fast together. With all my three kids. Even though the foods are just simple - rice porridge, mee soup, cucur udang and banana fritter. I also prepared pajeri nenas and sambal ayam.
By about 9.45 pm we sent Ita back to UITM and later Ucin drove himself to his rented house by about 10.45pm. At the same time Malik went to work. He had his night shift.
At that left the two of us again.

MY DAILY CHORE
I have to drive 41 km to school. That's makes 82 km to and fro. I used to divide my driving into quarters.
Fom home to about the junction to PWTC (I suppose this is still Jalan Kucing), it is the first quarter. I never meet any problem on my way to school in this first quarter except near DBP because from seven lanes (Jalan Loke Yew) it branches to three separate ways. I must not be later than 6.30 am at this spot so that it will be a smooth driving to pass this space on earth. But on my way home I must face the jam which starts from Bank Negara without fail if I pass here about 5.00 pm.
The second quarter ends near Selayang and Batu Caves, that is about one km from Tesco Selayang (there is a round about on top of the road - forgot the name of the round about). Here is always a smooth driving. Of course except if there is an accident happen.
The third quarter is always something that tickle my mind. Why there are big lorries here after all I never meet any for the first twenty km? And the road is also dark because the streetlights are already off even before 7.00 am. On top of it the end of my third quarter, that is somewhere near Taman Commonwealth, the two lanes narrow to one. Luckily the one lane is just for about two km. I also face problem here because the lights from the cars on the other side of the road are glaring the eyes. There are only double lines here and all the cars are speeding. All these problems eased up as I am approaching Rawang.
My last quarter is also ok even though I have to pass the centre of Rawang. There is no jam whatsoever in the morning. Only that, my last t-junction which is about one km from school is heavy with traffic but it is solved by the traffic light. How to say to have the last turn to the school is the most dangerous spot.

ME ME ME ME ME
This was the counter in the X-ray Department Hospital Kuala Lumpur
Last Thursday 6 August, I had my blood tested. On Friday, 7 August I had to X-ray my chest in Hospital Kuala Lumpur. These last three days Monday till Wednesday (10 - 12 August) I had my phlegm analyse. The good story - I am negative of H1N1. But the sore throat is still there.

THE SORE THROAT
I went to Klinik Kesihatan Cheras situated in Level 9, Tower 2, PGRM Cheras today. It is about 3 km from home. I placed my IC on the registration counter about 8.20 am and I got my number 1067 (meaning my turn was 67) after about 20 minutes. I received my treatment from Dr Rozita in Room 7 at about 10.10 am and was asked to do the blood test which will take about an hour to know the result. By 11.30 am with the blood test result - the doctor ask me to come again at 2.00pm.
I came at about 2.15 pm and get my turn at about 2.30. She asked me to have my chest X-ray in Hospital Kuala Lumpur and to have my phlegm analyse? for three consecutive mornings starting next Monday.
I have two days MC and suspected for H1N1. My throat is still in pain actually for more than two weeks. I felt tired. Home by 3.15pm. Bless me.

MY TRIP HOME
Knowing there was a broken-down long trailer near the t-junction of my school, I decided to use the North-South highway to beat the unmoved vehicles. So I drove about 10 km from school to get to the nearest tol - Bukit Beruntung exit. I left Jalan Duta tol and cost me RM5.60. Moving on I passed another tol - Cheras tol for RM0.50. In all I paid RM6.10 and a journey of 66 km instead of the usual 41 km tol-free. The time - I left school at 4.45 pm and reached home at 6.10 pm. More or less about the same time I reached home. Bless me.
